Landscapes

My landscape paintings are depicting views of the Jura mountains of French Switzerland, the rolling hills of Umbria and Tuscany, Italy and the mountains of the Catskill region in upstate New York. The sensuous curves and patterns of the farmland and mountains pushing against the expanse of the bright open sky brings the viewer into the pastoral settings. The perspective of the picture plane allows one to travel through the quiet landscapes framed by the architectural designs and patterns of Italy, Prague and Budapest.
